PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The Data Controller is XBS Logistics S.A. with its registered office in Pass 20M, 05-870 Błonie, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs, KRS (National Court Register) number: 0000162028, for which registration files are kept by XIV Economic Division, NIP (Tax Identification Number): 524-238-06-93, REGON (National Business Regstry Number): 017174675. Data protection takes place in accordance with the requirements of generally applicable laws, and data storage takes place on secure servers.
  2. For the interpretation of terms, the glossary of the Terms and Conditions shall be applied or as described in the Privacy Policy (if this results directly from the description).
  3. For the purpose of better understanding of the Privacy Policy, the term “User” has been replaced with “you”, “Controller” with “We”. “GDPR” means Regulation (UE) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27.04.2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
  4. We respect your right to privacy and are committed to data security. For this purpose, the secure communication encryption protocol (SSL) is used, among other things.
  5. Personal data provided in the form on the landing page are treated as confidential and are not visible to unauthorised persons.
  6. If you submit an enquiry on our website, we process your data such as: given name, surname, email address, telephone number, job title, place of work, IP address.
  7. XBS is also the Data Controller of persons who subscribe to the newsletter.
  8. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the provisions on personal data protection, in accordance with the implemented Privacy Policy in the scope and for the purpose necessary for the establishment and shaping of the content of the Agreement, amendment or termination thereof and for proper implementation of Services provided electronically, in the scope and for the purpose necessary for the pursuit of legitimate interests (legally justified purposes), and the processing shall not violate the rights and freedoms of the data subject.
  9. Every data subject (if we are the Data Controller) has the right of access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the right to object, the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

  11. We reserve the right to process your data after termination of the Agreement or withdrawal of consent only to the extent necessary to assert possible claims in court or if national or EU or international law obliges us to retain the data.
  12. The Service Provider has the right to make the User’s personal data and other data available to entities authorised under relevant legislation (e.g. law enforcement agencies).
  13. Deletion of personal data may take place as a result of withdrawal of consent or lodging of a legally permissible objection to the processing of personal data.
  14. The Service Provider shall not disclose personal data to any other entities than those authorised under the relevant legislation.
  15. We have implemented pseudonymisation, data encryption and access control to minimise the effects of any data security breaches.
  16. Personal data is only processed by persons authorised by us or by processors with whom we work closely.
  17. The website uses cookies. These are small text files sent by a web server and stored by your browser software. Additional personal data, such as the e-mail address, is only collected where the user has explicitly consented to this by filling in the form. We retain and use the above data only for the purposes necessary to perform the given function.
